BREAK!

Adam had a three week break for Christmas, and we enjoyed every second of all three weeks! The absolute best part about the holidays this year was that we got to spend them at HOME, in AMERICA, with our FAMILIES!

We caught the first plane out of St Kitts on the day after finals, with just about every other MUA student on the island! I think to say everyone was a little anxious to get home would be an understatement. :) The whole trip to Arizona takes us just under 23 hours to complete (with a short overnight stay in Miami). We were pretty excited to be off of airplanes and on solid ground by the time we got to Phoenix. My family picked us up at the airport and we got right to business... first stop: TEXAS ROADHOUSE! Adam's mom and sisters and the Spilsburys met us there, and we all laughed till our sides hurt, and ate till we felt sick! But man was it good!!

We spent the first week we were home with my family in Pima. Some highlights of the week were: a FHE party with all the Brown Family (complete with a ballerina dance by Aunt Vonnie through the living room while we sang "Joy to the World"... most entertaining "Joy to the World" I've ever seen or heard!), watching one of Brandee's basketball games and her high school choir concert, a temple session and lunch with Grandpa and Grandma Crockett, making new curtains for our little apartment here with my mom (ok, she made them, I supervised), and a whole lot of just relaxing and visiting!

At the end of the week Kelsey let me know that she was flying in from Utah a week earlier than everyone thought, so we stuck around that day long enough for her big surprise (and what a fun one it was!) and then we headed up to St Johns for Chapter Two!
