Hot showers are NOT overrated!

Here in our cozy little apartment, the only place we have hot water is in the shower. The set up is a little different, but it gets the job done. Let me explain...

The wiring for the "hot water heater" starts inside the outlet-less outlet box here...

Then it runs up and along bathroom wall...

Until it connects to the actual water heater on top of the shower head...

And then hot water comes out- no, not from the shower head, but from the small hose attached to it...

So you see, it's not the fanciest water-heating system, but it's worked great... until last Thursday! Adam feels like he's back on his mission, and I'm just a giant baby when it comes to cold showers! Neither one of us are very big fans! We're hoping to get it fixed soon. I'm not sure how many more freezing showers my poor heart can take. But until then, those noises you're hearing that sound like faint screams far off in the distance is just me, reminding the world that I have no hot water every time I get in the shower.
