St. Kitts Staycation!

He did it... Adam survived finals, and his second semester of med school is officially in the books!! First item on the agenda for the break was a weekend "get-away" to St. Kitts. We booked a couple nights at the Marriott resort for some serious rest and relaxation! We spent lots of time in the pool and on the beach, did some snorkeling, met a local guy with a monkey who let us take pictures with it, went to a movie at the theatre, and ate so much great food! Other highlights of the trip were a tour of an old British fortress from the early days of the island, and getting to attend church at the St. Kitts Branch on Sunday.

We had a such a great time! It was even a little sad getting on the ferry to come back to Nevis... until the ferry driver got lost in the storm and our 15 minute ferry ride turned into an hour and 15 minute ride! Then it was mostly just annoying, and we were both a little sick from the boat rocking back and forth so long. Just one more experience for our list of Nevis adventures! :)
