Merry Christmas 2013!

We've had such a fun week celebrating Christmas in St. Johns with all of the Pattersons! It's been a non-stop party all week! We've all done a lot of game playing, movie watching, treat eating... and that was just in our down time!
Here are some of the other fun things that we did all week:

Doughnut Day!

Every year growing up, Adam and his siblings got an Christmas ornament from his parents that was unique to them or something that happened to them that year. And every year his mom decorates the tree with all of the ornaments! It is amazing to me how she keeps them so organized, and makes them all fit perfectly on the tree every year, she is an artist, and her tree is always beautiful! His mom has continued the tradition for each grandchild on their first Christmas, so this year Chandler got his first ornament! I love this tradition!

Bundled up for caroling! 

This year, the traditional "kids on the stairs" picture became "grandkids on the stairs". I think we only had to snap about 50 (with 6 different cameras) to get one where everyone was looking the same direction. But aren't they a darn cute bunch of kids?!

Christmas Morning!! Chandler slept till 9am! That in itself was a Christmas miracle! So he missed out on all the craziness with everyone else, but when the sleepy head finally woke up, he had his own private little Christmas morning. And, he's so close to sitting up all by himself! :) 

We're grateful, as always, for the Reason for this Season- the birth of our Savior, and that he's made it possible for families to be together forever! We love our family! Merry Christmas, from the Pattersons!
