County Fair and Football

     The Apache County fair was the first week of September. We got to watch Nicholas sell his pig, Twinkie, that he raised for 4-H this year. He also received the special 4-H service award! Way to go Nick! It was fun to see all the ribbons that the other nieces and nephews got on stuff they entered too! Country fairs are just an all around good time!
     We've also been to a few high school football games this month. There is nothing quite like a Friday night home game in a small town! I love that the whole town comes out to support the team. And the oldest men in town seem to be the most die hard fans. It's awesome! Chandler was just glad Grandma Patterson held him tight and kept him warm! :)
     We're staying here in Saint Johns with Adam's mom for the next little while until we find out where we're headed for Adam's rotations. She takes such good care of us! We're definitely feeling more than a little bit spoiled! I love it here. This small town life is right up my alley!
