It's been another fun month! It feels like we traveled a lot, always headed somewhere. We're definitely enjoying this little break from school, and the chance to spend so much time with family!
* We made a few quick trips to Mesa, which is always fun! We got to hang out with little Kason Frost and his parents while we were there. These boys are exactly one month apart, and are destined to be good buddies (because their mom's say so!)
* Chandler was blessed on August 11th. It was a great day with lots of family! Adam gave Chandler a very sweet blessing. We really appreciated our families all making the effort to be there with us that day. Our little boy is so loved!
* Chandler had his two month doctor's appointment. His pediatrician said we could try treating him for acid reflux to see if that helped him feel better. We started him on some medication, and he's like a new baby! He also got his first shots. Those are never fun, but the cuddles afterward are nice. Grammy cuddles are the best!
* 2 month stats: weight - 12 lbs, 1 oz
length - 23 3/4 inches
head- 16 inches
* We went to Mexico for Kelsey and Matt's reception. It had been postponed until my dad could travel. We hadn't been down there since our own reception two years ago. We're glad we'll get to go a little more often now that my parents have moved back down there. I just love going home! There really is no place like it! Thanks to my parents and Ashlyn for picking us up in Deming and taking us back out after the party.
* We ended the month with a camping trip to Big Lake! It was so pretty, and the weather was fantastic (we got a little wet, but that didn't bother us). We had a blast with Kyle and Candace and their boys, Lora, and Mom! We ate, and napped, and played, and ate, and hiked, and ate some more. One afternoon we drove up to PS, a large open meadow that used to be owned by Adam's family. I've heard so many stories about all of Adam's fun memories of camping there as a boy. It was fun to finally get to see it for real! I wish I had more pictures.
