White Baby!!

After work at the dentist office last Friday I had a few errands to run in town before I came home. I needed to go to the bank, wich is right in the middle of downtown... my favorite place. Parking is an absolute nightmare in town, but I finally found a spot a few blocks away. I had to walk accross an empty lot and past an outdoor bar before I got back to the main road and the bank. I finished up my errands in about 30 minutes and headed back to my car. When I passed by the bar the second time there was only one guy sitting at the bar. He looked kinda like this guy:

As I passed by him I heard "Hey! Hey you...! Hey White Baby!!" in a strong island accent. I laughed a little out loud and thought, "huh, that's a new one!" I turned around and waved, but kept walking. He called after me again, "Hey White Baby, come back!" It was obvious he'd had one too many drinks and was feeling gooood. I called back,"Nope, I can't, I gotta go!" but never stopped walking. And then I heard, "Ok, ok... me come! wait, me come!" "No no friend, you just stay there. Have a great day!" By then I was almost back to my car and he gave up and went back to his beer.

Just another beautiful day in downtown Charlestown. And apparently one more name to add to my list of nicknames. I'm so lucky! :)
