One Year Older!

Adam's birthday was this week, on the 19th! Since he started medical school, every single holiday has landed on either the day before or the day of his exams. Talk about a sorry schedule! But, as it turned out, his birthday was a couple days after his exams this week, so it was perfect!

To celebrate, he treated himself to a day off, which he absolutely deserved! He got biscuits and gravy for breakfast, then kicked back and watched ESPN all morning! When I got home from work, he got to open his presents (p.s. birthday shopping on Nevis is hard!) but he got some fun treasures. :) He had lots of fun talking to family that called throughout the day. That evening we went to a little beach bar and grill where we heard they served great hot wings, and for the record, their hot wings really are good! After dinner we came back home and topped off the day with yummy chocolate cake, smothered in triple chocolate fudge icing, and ice cream!
