Family Time!

The second week of Adam's break his mom and sister Jill came to visit us! We were so excited for them to come, we've been counting down to their arrival for months! They endured a really long day of airports and flight delays, but finally made it to St. Kitts in one piece, and it was SO good to see them! I think it was well after 2am when we finally went to bed that night.

We all attended church at the St. Kitts Branch on Sunday, which is always a treat! It was a rather warm treat that day (the a/c wasn't working) but a treat none the less! Monday we spent the day on a catamaran/snorkeling tour! We sailed on the boat to a little cove, snorkeled there for a while, had lunch on the boat, and sailed back. It was so much fun!

Tuesday we did some sight seeing on St. Kitts, and that afternoon we caught the car ferry back over to Nevis. The rest of the week was spent doing more sight seeing, running from rainstorms on the beach, actually relaxing on the beach, playing in the ocean, laughing till our sides hurt, and eating a lot of really good food! The little inconveniences during the week like Tropical Storm Isaac, and our car breaking down, didn't even slow down the fun!

 

 

 

The week flew by way too fast! Saturday morning we dropped them off at the water taxi back to St Kitts to catch their plane. It was kind of sad to stand on the dock and watch them leave! Thanks so much, Catherine and Jill, for coming to see us! We're so glad you got to experience our island life! And, because of your visit, we might just make it to Christmas break without having some sort of melt down! :)
